Guidelines Parents
To ensure smart development of child parents are expected to guide & counsel their children and train them to follow school rules. School rules to be followed by children are given in previous chapter. Following are few guidelines for parents for smooth functioning of school.
Transport:
Discontinuation of transport facility is not possible, once opted for, due to technical reasons. Request for the same for the next session to be submitted to the school office latest by 15th March.
Fee Payments:
All financial transaction between the parents and the school office must be carried out by the parents personally. Fee collection days are 1st-10th of every month. School dues are to be paid in cash or by draft only. Fee for the month of May/June & February/March will be collected as one installment in the month of May and February respectively. If fee for a month is not paid full by 11th of the month, a uniform fine of Rs. 2/- per day for non-payment of fee will be imposed from 11th onwards till the date of payment. If fee remains unpaid up to 60 days from the due date the name of the student will be struck off the rolls of the school and re-admission fee will be charged, in case readmission is
granted, together with pending fee.
Assessment Report:
Parents will be given an assessment report at the end of each unit test/term examination for all classes. These must be collected by parents themselves from the respective class teachers and will not be given to the children. The unit test and mid-term reports are to be signed and handover back to the class teacher. Home Work and Letters between School and Parents: Assignment for various classes shall be planned and communicated through the diaries. Parents should check their ward's school diary everyday and note the home work set or any other instruction given. Routine letters and notices shall also be sent through children's diaries. Students of classes Nursery to II preferably will complete their homework in school itself and will be assigned sets of alternative homework to develop creativity and other skills. Parents are advice to support the child in completing their projects.
Change of residential or official address/Telephone Nos.:
Any change in the residential / official address or telephone number of the parents must be intimated promptly to the school office in writing.
Motorized Vehicle:
Students are not allowed to drive any mechanized vehicle within or outside the school, as they are all below 18 years.
Birthday Celebration:
Parents are advised not to send sweets etc. with children for celebration of birthdays. Exchange of gifts is not allowed.
Parents' visit to school and meeting with the Principal /Teachers:
To familarise yourself with what is happening in various classes, you can visit the school briefly between 10:30am to1:30 pm during summers and 11:30am to 2:30pm during winter.
